Psalm 103 (One of my life scriptures)

“Praise the Lord, O my soul, all that is within me, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits-who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s The Lord works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.” (NIV)
The story behind Bible Burst! Around the age of 3 my daughter Lauren would return home from play school and enthusiastically share the Bible verse her class was learning. “Mommy Daddy want to hear the “Bible Burst” I learned today?” How could I correct that? For a long while she thought is was a “Bible Burst”. Ah! out of the mouths of babes. We adored her skewed interpretation. I gained a new perspective on my weekly scripture reading as each verse burst from the pages with enlightenment and excitement. Each week I will share a burst from my Bible with you.

This is AWESOME!!! I love it. Thank you for Sharing and when Lauren is older she’ll know that it was truly a “BURST” from the Lord and not just a cute mislearned word.
